It is also home to world-famous glaciers, as there are only a few places in this world where you can hike on glaciers, and the west coast of New Zealand accounts for two of them: the Fox Glacier and the Franz Josef Glacier. We will start in Christchurch and take the Tranz Alpine train to Arthur's Pass, along the way we will visit the pearl of the walk on the west coast, hike the ancient glaciers and finally arrive in the famous Queenstown.

Day 1 Christchurch
Arrive Christchurch, check in hotel for rest.
In the morning, you will be taken to the TranzAlpine, one of New Zealand's world-famous scenic trains. The train travels through the Southern Alps, passing through the Canterbury floodplain, the agricultural capital of the South Island, and the vast pastures of New Zealand before arriving at the foothills of the Southern Alps. The train then enters the Waimakariri River Valley, where the natural beauty of the train changes as it travels, passing through mountain gorges and tunnels, and where you can either sit back and enjoy the scenery from your carriage or go out into the open space between the carriages to capture the views as the train moves. [ROSS -- Shanty Town] Take a ride on the antique steam train to experience the fun of the gold rush, and walk through the town to see the artefacts of the gold rush period.
Drive to Greymouth and visit PUNAKAK [Thousand Layers of Pancake Rocks] also known as Thousand Layers of Rock, formed 30 million years ago. Over thousands of years, alternating layers of small marine organisms and sandy soil layered and buried on the seafloor, creating a multilayered area of hard limestone and soft sandstone build-up. Seismic activity raised the sea floor levels and eventually dried them out. And the slow-motion artists - rain and wind - began to erode the soft sandstone. Eventually hundreds of strata formed vertically along the cliff gullies like giant layered pancakes.

Day 3 Greymouth
West Coast Art Town Hokitika (about 11KM) - Fox Glacier or Joseph Glacier (about 157KM)
After breakfast, proceed to Hokitika, a small art town on the west coast of South Island. Filled with classic 19th century buildings, the streets of the town are filled with craft shops, from glass art, jade and abalone shells to bone work and decorative items. In the town, you will probably find everything from small trinkets to stunning works of art, and you will be able to savour the authenticity of New Zealand's craftsmanship.
Afterwards, we will go to the National Glacier Area, where you are free to participate in a 1-hour helicopter tour or glacier hiking at your own expense.
After dinner, check in to the hotel, end of the day tour.
Day 4 Fox Glacier or Joseph Glacier
Wanaka (approx. 260KM)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go to Lake Matheson, where the reflections of New Zealand's highest peaks, Mount Aoraki and Mount Tasman, are reflected on the surface of the lake, making the lake as beautiful as a silver mirror, with an unforgettable view. Day 5 Wanaka

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to [Kawarau Bungee Suspension Bridge], the birthplace of bungee jumping all over the world, and watch the exciting bungee jumping from a height of 43 meters. (If you want to experience it, you should attend it according to your health and safety condition, and the cost is at your own expense)
[Arrow Town] was developed in the 19th century as a gold rush town, which attracted 7,000 people at its peak. After the gold mines were dug out, the town's 19th-century buildings were left intact. Day 6 Queenstown (full day free)
This day everyone can enjoy this charming town, you can walk around Queenstown all day. Of course, Queenstown is full of all kinds of activities, and if you are a fan of The Lord of the Rings, you can take a trip to the Gringotts Trilogy.
Depart Queenstown for Greenocky and begin with a fun and exciting jet boat ride! Our experienced professional drivers will take you on a ride through the colourful and mysterious Dart River to a deserted area only accessible by speedboat, followed by a relaxing hike through the precious 10,000 years old forest of the World Heritage Site with our Chinese speaking guides.
