Journey Description:
Day 1 Auckland – Rotorua
Depart Auckland at 9am and drive to Aegon Farm. Aegon Farm is a fun and educational sheep and beef cattle sightseeing ranch located 160 hectares north of Rotorua. With the turquoise blue sky and dotted white clouds above, turquoise grass and slowly wriggling sheep under the blue sky, accompanied by the shepherd's song, a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, this is one of New Zealand's most beautiful idyllic scenic tourist destinations. Here you will have the chance to see all kinds of lovely animals, there are red deer, mergansers, moose, opossums, dairy cows, ducks, lambs and many sheep that you have never seen before, of which there are more than a dozen breeds of sheep alone, living a sheep paradise.
Afterwards, go to [Maori Cultural Village] with strong regional characteristics, visit the Maori handicrafts and historical artefacts on display, and watch the spectacular geothermal geyser and mud pool. Afterwards, check in to the Centennial Hot Spring Hotel and rest.
Day 2 Rotorua - Auckland
After enjoying a western buffet breakfast at the hotel, swing in style at the hotel golf course and experience [9-hole Golf].
Afterwards, you will go for a hike on the Tihuahoe Trail. When you reach the Blue Spring, you will be deeply attracted by the clear blue water, which comes from the Mamaku Plateau and has to be filtered for 100 years to reach the surface of the ground, so the water is extremely pure and clear, and it will show a stirring blue color.
Go to Waitomo to visit [Waitomo Glowworm Cave] the world's wonders of glowworm stalactite caves, you can take a canoe ride on the underground lake, to enjoy as if the sky is full of starlight glowworm spectacle. Drive back to Auckland, the end of your pleasant trip to the North Island!
Hotel Introduction
The Okoroire Spa Hotel, part of the Kingstown Blue Springs Resort Limited, is an invaluable part of New Zealand's history and heritage, built on over 70 hectares of land in the Edwardian style dating back to 1889, with its simple and rustic design still in use today.
The hotel is located next to Blue Springs, the source of New Zealand's pump brand of mineral water sold around the world, so the hotel uses the mineral-rich underground spring water for drinking, cooking and bathing. We are proud to say that there is no other place in the North Island of New Zealand where you can experience such a special luxury - drinking and bathing in the purest mineral water, and enjoying an open-air spa in the oldest concrete pool in New Zealand's history.
