Itinerary introduction:

Day 1 Auckland-Rotorua

Depart from Auckland at 9:00 a.m., go to Waitomo to visit [Waitomo Glowworm Cave] the world's wonders of glowworm stalactite caves, you can take a canoe to swim in the underground lake, to enjoy the glowworm spectacle as if the sky is full of starlight.

Afterwards, we will go to the Redwood Forest. New Zealanders planted more than 170 different kinds of trees in the Redwood Forest, hoping to find out which kind of tree is the most suitable for New Zealand, especially for the geothermal-rich region of Rotorua. Of these 170 species of trees, one third have survived and the Redwood Forest is now a great place for walking or mountain biking.

[Lake Rotorua] Lake Rotorua is the third largest lake in New Zealand. About 200,000 years ago, a huge volcanic eruption occurred in this area, and after the eruption, a magma chamber collapsed under the Rotorua area. The collapse created a circular crater 16 kilometres wide, which filled with rainwater to form Lake Rotorua. Visit Rotorua and then visit the Government Gardens where you can walk along the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the unique air of Rotorua.

Day 2 Rotorua-Taupo-Rotorua

Depart Auckland at 9am and drive to Aegodon Farm, an educational and fun sheep and beef cattle sightseeing ranch located 160 hectares north of Rotorua. With the turquoise blue sky and dotted white clouds above, turquoise grass and slowly wriggling sheep under the blue sky, accompanied by the shepherd's song, a peaceful and quiet, this is one of New Zealand's most beautiful idyllic scenic tourist destinations. Here you will have the chance to see all sorts of lovely animals, including red deer, mergansers, moose, opossums, dairy cattle, ducks, lambs and many sheep you have never seen before, including more than a dozen breeds of sheep alone, living a sheep paradise.

Afterwards, go to [Maori Cultural Village] with strong regional characteristics, visit the Maori handicrafts and historical artefacts on display, and watch the spectacular geothermal geyser and mud pool. Afterwards, check in to the Centennial Hot Spring Hotel and rest.

Afterwards, we will go to Lake Taupo, the largest lake in New Zealand. Along the way, you can enjoy the famous Wairaraki Thermal Power Station, Huka Falls, etc. You can also take a jet boat tour of Lake Taupo at your own expense.

Day 3 Rotorua - Auckland


After a Western buffet breakfast at the hotel, visit the Hobbit Village, where the film sets of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit have been preserved intact, and the semi-circular Hobbit Houses are set into the rolling hillside. Return to Auckland.
