A free fall time of 45 seconds for a skydiving altitude of 12,000 feet (approximately 3,600 metres);

The upper weight limit is 100kg. There is no minimum weight requirement, it is recommended to be at least 30kg, and your body must be of a standard that allows you to wear a parachute harness.

4. Is there a minimum or maximum age limit?

There is no age limit at all! NZONE has carried passengers as old as 94 years old, and jumpers under 18 years old need to have the consent of their parents or guardians.

5. How long is the flight time?

The flight time of the aircraft depends on the altitude you choose to fly. If you choose 15,000 feet (about 4,500 metres), it takes about 15 minutes to reach the maximum altitude.

6. How long does the whole skydiving activity take?

The entire skydive, including the round-trip bus ride from Queenstown town centre, takes 3½ hours.

7. How many rounds of skydiving will there be each day?

There will be a shuttle bus to the parachute drop zone every hour from 8:30am to 2:30pm in winter and 7:30am to 3:30pm in summer. The time of day for taking part in the parachute jump is subject to enrolment and weather conditions.

8. What type of aircraft do you use?

In Queenstown, NZONE uses two Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft.

All parachutes are equipped with a reserve parachute and an automatic opening device.

10. How do I get to the parachuting area?

According to the booking information, you will meet and check in at the Queenstown Town Centre (35 Shotover Street) at the designated time, then we will transfer you to the parachute drop zone and return you to the town centre after the jump.

11. Can I fly with my friends on the same aircraft?

NZONE's aircraft can carry up to 9 passengers at a time, so it is very possible to complete a jump on the same aircraft as a friend. There are a number of factors to consider when arranging passenger flights and we will endeavour to arrange for groups of people to travel on the same aircraft.

12. Do I need to prepare anything special?

There is nothing special to prepare, just wear shoes that will not come off in the air and comfortable clothing. In the winter months, it is advisable to wear a few layers of close-fitting clothing, as this is much more comfortable than wearing just a large jacket.

No. NZONE will provide you with goggles that fit over your glasses.

Friends and family are welcome to drive themselves to the parachute drop zone to watch the show, NZONE will provide route guidance. Note: Basically, one parachutist can be accompanied by one friend or family member if there is space on the bus, but friends and family members are not allowed to travel to the last round of parachute jumping each day.

16. Do I need to book in advance?

Advance booking is required to ensure that you are able to make your skydive on the planned date and time.

17. What will happen if the weather is not suitable for skydiving?

As skydiving is a sport that is particularly affected by the weather, in the event of unsuitable weather for skydiving, NZONE may cancel the scheduled jumps and try to reschedule the delayed jumps to the next round. Unfortunately, for safety and insurance reasons, personal cameras and Go Pro extreme sports cameras are not allowed to be brought on board the aircraft. Due to the extreme natural environment of skydiving, photographers carrying camera equipment are subjected to stringent checks before they can be taken on board the aircraft.
