Depart from South Island on Monday, 6th, Christchurch in and out

Day 1:Arriving Christchurch/Lake Tekapo (L/D)

Take the morning flight to Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island. Meet up with your local guide at 1030am then head out to get to know Christchurch. A brief stop in Avon River, Art Museum, Memorial Bridge, Church Square. After lunch, it’s time to get on the road and drive to Lake Tekapo, a truly stunning sight with its bright blue waters and surrounding mountains. Explore the remarkable turquoise coloured waters at Lake Pukaki. VISIT Church of the Good Shepherd, It is one of the world’s most inspiring backdrops! Lake Tekapo is the largest International Dark Sky Reserve which is a great spot for stargazing.

Day 2:Lake Tekapo /Mt Cook/Queenstown (B/D/Lunch on our own) 

Head to Mount Cook Aoraki, with snow-capped mountains and glacial lakes, you will absolutely enjoy the landscapes that surround this area. Optional Tasman Glacier explorer experience for 3 hours. ($155 per person). Lunch at own arrangement.  Drive past snow-dusted peaks of the Southern Alps as you travel down to Queenstown, you’ll have the chance to take the plunge with a Bungy jump if you’re feeling brave! Arrive in Queenstown, an outdoor paradise set among the stunning Southern Alps.  Take a scenic ride in the Skyline Gondola to see the stunning views as you ride the steepest cable car lift in the Southern Hemisphere!

Day 3:Queenstown/Arrow Town/Queenstown (B/L/D)

A relaxed day in Queenstown soaking up the beautiful Alpine Landscape while you pursue your favourite form of relaxation. Visit the lovely little gold-rush town of Arrowtown, one of the most picturesque settlements in New Zealand. Explore Queenstown in the afternoon. Suggested Activities at own expense: Jet Boat, Bungy Jump, 18 Century Steam Boat …Then we spend second night in Queenstown.

Day 4:TeAnau / Milford Sound / Te Anau (B/L/D)

Depart for Milford Sound Cruise. Spoil yourself with crystal clear lakes, rugged snowcapped mountains, spectacular waterfalls, glaciers and forested national parks. Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet on the cruise. Overnight in Te Anau. there are plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy the spectacular surrounding nature. Perhaps heading out to see the glow worms is a great idea(optional)

Day 5:Te Anau / Dunedin /Oamaru (B/L/D)

Visit Dunedin, New Zealand’s oldest city featuring history, scenery and wildlife encounters. Otago University, Historical Railway Station, World’s steepest residential Street are must-stops. Visit spherical Moeraki Boulder which is 60 million years old. Overnight in Oamaru for Penguin Parade. You can only see this type of penguin in South Island New Zealand and part of Australia.

Day 6:Oamaru/ Christchurch / Home (B/L)

Travel across the Canterbury Plains through Timaru and back to Christchurch. Take a late afternoon flight Home. Flight must depart after 4pm.
