Day 1: City Tour & Phillip Island

Maximize your time in Melbourne with a great-value full-day tour, combining the best bits of the city and Phillip Island. Spend the morning touring Melbourne landmarks like Federation Square, St Patrick’s Cathedral and China Town. After lunch (own expense), tour the Panny’s Chocolate Factory Maru Animal Park, get up close to Aussie wildlife at the Koala Conservation Centre, then watch the sunset Penguin Parade on Phillip Island. We recommend you bring warm clothing with you on the day, as it can get quite cool during the evening at the Penguin Parade.

Day 2: Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles

Discover some of Australia’s most photographed landscapes on this full-day tour of the famous Great Ocean Road from Melbourne. Stop for morning tea (own expense)in Anglesea, spot wild koalas along the way, and tuck into lunch (own expense) overlooking the dramatic Apollo Bay. After lunch, enjoy a hike through Great Otway National Park, learn how the notorious Shipwreck Coast earned its name, and marvel over natural landmarks like the 12 Apostles.

Day 3: Sovereign Hill & Creswick Mills

Visit the Creswick Woollen Mills – “A Very Fine Yarn” showcasing the journey of fibre; all the way from its source on the alpaca, through the manufacturing process and how it ends up on the shop shelf. Sovereign Hill is a well-known heritage park that sits on the site of the richest gold rush in the entire world. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore some of the most pivotal parts of history, including the Red Hill Gully diggings, the Gold Museum, and Main Street. To get the full historic experience, you can also ride a stagecoach, check out the blacksmith, and tuck into some Devonshire tea at the New York Bakery (own expense).

After breakfast, free at your own leisure. Airport transfer at 8am-8pm.
